Class balance – 10

Class Balance – KR 11.28.2018

When using skills on characters and monsters, we changed the part where the effect would apply differently.
The damage applied to other characters would be significantly lower than one provided in the description and the duration much shorter than expected which was causing confusion among players.
To reduce the confusion, we made sure the damage and duration of skills are as close to each other as possible when applied to monsters and players.

Skills that required multiple Healing Potions or Dispels to be removed will now require only 1 usage of either. Because it was hard to determine if the debuff was not removable with a Healing Potion or Dispel, we decided that [Ankle Grab, Chain of Suffering, Seal of Judgment, Blast Spell, Mountain Crash, Venomous Strike, Shackle Arrow, Curse of Weakness, Infernal Blight] skills should only require one dispel/potion.

Gladiator

Although the Gladiator is an offensive class, it was determined that having both great offensive and defensive abilities could greatly affect the balance. Therefore, we balanced the skills to allow the gladiator to choose if he wants to hit hard but with an impact on his defense or have a bigger defense and therefore type less hard.

◆ [Deadly Abandon]
→ The effect will now apply when HP drops below 40% instead of 10%. Instead of 2s stun, Physical Attack will be increased by 500.

◆ [Defence Preparation]
→ PVP Defence increased from 400 to 500, cooldown changed from 1s to 10s. Also, increases Physical Defence, Magic Defence by 500, Physical Attack and Additional PvP Attack by 500. Increased Parry, Block, Fear Resistance, Enmity effect removed.

◆ [Combat Preparation]
→ Physical Attack increased from 180 to 500, Additional PvP Attack increased from 400 to 500, cooldown changed from 1s to 10s. Also, decreases Physical Defence, Magic Defence and Additional PvP Defence by 500.

◆ [Armour of Vengeance]
→ Cooldown reduced from 1m 30s to 1m, duration changed from 7s to 20s, HP absorption effect was changed from 1,500 to 1,000. Also, the Fear Resist, Sleep Resist and Reflect effects have been removed.

◆ [Magic Defence]
→ Duration changed from 15s to 12s, Magic Defence increase effect changed from 750 to 2,000. Also, Sleep Resist and Fear Resist increase by 1,000.

◆ [Wall of Steel]
→ Duration changed from 30s to 10s, Parry effect was reduced from 12 attacks to 10, the cooldown was reduced from 5min to 3min.

◆ [Concentrated Defence Shield]
→ Duration has been reduced from 30s to 20s, Parry effect has been reduced from 30 attacks to 10, cooldown has been reduced from 3min to 1m 30s. Magic Defence increase effect removed.

◆ [Draining Sword]
→ The motion of the skill has been changed to a more dynamic one.

◆ [Blade Leap]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 1min to 30s.

◆ [Wild Tremor]
→ Distance has been reduced from 25m to 15m, the effect will no longer apply to targets within 3m radius but to a single target.

◆ [Leaping Strike]
→ Distance has been increased from 5m to 7m, the effect will now apply to enemies within 7m radius instead of a single target.

Templar

As a class that plays a protector role in PvE, we strongly increased his defensive abilities in PvE. In addition, the CDs of several skills have been reduced which allows the player to use them more often.

◆ [Menacing Posture]
→ Physical Attack reduction changed from 10% to 500, PVE defence has been increased from 1,000 to 2,500. Also, an effect that increased Additional PvE Attack by 800 has been added.

◆ [Depriving Strike]
→ HP absorption effect changed from 10% to 40%.

◆ [Shield Blow]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 1min to 30s.

◆ [Incur Wrath]
→ Cooldown reduced from 60s to 12s, an effect that increases Additional PVE Defence by 1,500 has been added. Also, we changed it to be usable as a chain after Divine Blow that is also a part of Dazing Severe Blow skill chain.

◆ [Prayer of Freedom]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 2min to 1min. Also, the crash immunity effect has been removed, and Immobilization Resistance will no increase by 1000 for 7s.

◆ [Punishment]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 30s to 15s.

◆ [Panoply of Protection]
→ The shield will now block up to 15,000 damage instead of 10,000.

◆ [Barricade of Steel]
→ Block effect has been increased from 1500 to 4000, Physical Defence effect increased from 250 to 500. Also, the Magic Resist increase effect was removed.

◆ [Aether Armour]
→ Magic Resist increased from 2200 to 4000, Magic Defence increased from 750 to 1000.

Assassin

To improve the gameplay of the assassin’s class, we increased the power of these instant attacks and increased the survival of the class by strengthening its defenses, which were remarkably below his attack power.

◆ [Transformation: Slayer]
→ 20% attack speed increase added, Magic Resist increase effect removed.

◆ [Mist Butcher]
→ 1 skill will now have 100% damage increase. Also, 20% Attack Speed increase effect has been added, Magic Resist and Shock Resistance effects removed.

◆ [Fleeing Posture]
→ Impact resistance has been changed from 500 for 7s to 1000 for 10s, cooldown has been changed from 2m to 1m 30s.

◆ [Eye of Wrath]
→ Instead of dealing critical damage with 1 skill, 2 next skills will deal 50% more damage.

◆ [Deadly Focus]
→ Duration has been changed from 10s to 15s.

◆ [Lightning Slash]
→ Physical Defence reduction was increased from 400 to 1000. Also, Magical Acc, Magic Resist increase effects removed.

◆ [Sensory Boost]
→ Evasion and Magic Resist increase effects have been changed from 2200 to 3000. Also, 1000 Physical Defence increase effect has been added.

Ranger

Many effects have been added to the ranger’s skills, distribution has been made so that skills can be used more strategically.

◆ [Speed of the Wind]
→ A 300 Pull Resistance effect has been added. Also, Crit Strike, Attack increase effects have been removed.

◆ [Arrow of Destruction]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 3min to 1m 30s.

◆ [Arrow of Death]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 1min 30s to 30s.

◆ [Silencing Thrust]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 40s to 30s, 6~8s duration on monsters, 1.8 ~ 2.4s on players has been changed to 3s regardless of the target.

◆ [Bow of Blessing]
→ Physical Attack increase effect has been changed from 250 to 400. A 1000 Crit Strike increase effect has been added.

◆ [Bestial Fury]
→ Impact resistance effect removed.

◆ [Breath of Nature]
→ HP increase has been adjusted from 1428 to 2000. Also, Impact Resistance will be increased by 50.

◆ [Nature’s Blessing]
→ HP increase has been adjusted from 3528 to 4000. Also, Impact Resistance will increase by 100, the skill can now be used while moving.

◆ [Mau Blessing]
→ Physical Attack increase has been adjusted from 360 to 600. Also, Crit Strike, Magical Acc, Paralysis Resistance, Resistance to Pull increase effects have been removed.

◆ [Sharpen Arrows]
→ Physical Attack increase has been adjusted from 150 to 500. Also, Crit Strike will increase by 500, and the Evasion effect has been removed.

Aethertech

Aethertech’s PvE defenses have been greatly increased to better match its gameplay. So we decided to review most of his defensive abilities.

◆ [Alert Dialog]
→ Additional PvE Defence has been increased from 800 to 2500.

◆ [Heavy Silencing Blow]
→ 7s duration on monsters, 2.1s on players has been changed to 4s regardless of the target.

◆ [Rage Wave], [Rage Brand]
→ The skill is now part of a skill chain. Also, increases PvE defense for 20s by 1500.

◆ [Mystic Shell]
→ Maximum protection has been adjusted from 66,592 to 70,000. Also, Impact Resistance, Parry increase effects has been removed.

◆ [Magical Protective Shield]
→ PVE Defence has been adjusted from 520 to 700. Impact Resistance, Parry increase effects has been removed.

◆ [Increase Fighting Power]
→ Magic Attack has been adjusted from 764 to 800. Also, Impact Resistance increase effect has been removed

◆ [Combat power maximisation]
→ Magic Attack adjusted from 764 to 800, Additional PvP Attack adjusted from 520 to 550. Also, Impact Resistance, resistance to movement-restricting conditions effects have been removed

◆ [Id Shield]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 5min to 3min. Also, the Magic Resist increase effect was removed.

◆ [Cleave Armour]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 1min to 30s.

Gunner

We understood that the gunner lacked survival when he had a very high firepower and that it became difficult for him if he was targeted in a fight. We also adapted some skills that were not used much.

◆ [Survival Instinct]
→ Forward teleportation changed from 3m to 5m, cooldown reduced from 1min 30s to 30s. Additionally, the skill will no longer remove alter states.

◆ [Flight Instinct]
→ Forward teleportation changed from 3m to 5m, cooldown reduced from 1min 30s to 30s. Additionally, your resistance to movement-restricting states is increased by 1000, and the skill will no longer remove alter states.

◆ [Materialised Magic Form]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 2min to 1m 30s.

◆ [Hunter’s Eye]
→ Magic Resist increase effect has been removed.

◆ [Aimed Hunter’s Eye]
→ 500 Impact Resistance for 10s has been changed to 1000 Impact Resistance for 12s. Also, increases Binding and Silence resistance by 500, and Magic Resist, Magical Acc increase effects have been removed.

◆ [Trueshot Magic Eye]
→ Magical Acc effect has been adjusted from 1200 to 2000.

◆ [Fire Head Throughshot]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 20s to 12s.

◆ [Binding Projectile]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 40s to 24s.

◆ [Concentrated Chain Shot]
→ Skill damage increased by 20%.

◆ [Restraint Cannon]
→ Cooldown has been adjusted from 22s to 40s, Magic Defence has been adjusted from 2000 to 500.

◆ [Rapid Fire of Restoration]
→ Will now restore 2000 HP from critical hits.

◆ [Boosted Rapid Fire of Restoration]
→ HP restoration has been adjusted from 1000 to 1500, HP restoration from critical hits has been ajusted from 1500 to 2000.

◆ [Gun Salute]
→ Will now restore 10,000 HP instead of 2,000.

Sorcerer

In order for the class to be more dynamic we adjusted the CDs and skills casting times.

◆ [Flaming Meteor], [Fiery Roller]
→ Skill damage has been increased by 20%. Also, the stun effect has been removed.

◆ [Illusion Storm]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 2min 30s to 2min, stun duration has been reduced from 4s to 3s.

◆ [Boon of Quickness]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 5min to 3min.

◆ [Soul Freeze]
→ Bind effect has been added.

◆ [Vaizel’s Gift]
→ An effect that increases Additional PvE Damage by 500 has been added.

◆ [Flame Spray], [Glacial Shard]
→ Skill damage has been increased by 30%.

◆ [Summon Rock]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 1min to 18s.

◆ [Summon Heat], [Frosty Fire]
→ Skill damage has been increased by 20%.

◆ [Arcane Growth]
→ Increases Magic Attack by 1200 instead of 900, Crit Spell by 1200 instead of 300, cooldown has been reduced from 3min to 1min 30s, duration has been reduced from 60s to 30s. Also, Magical Acc increase effect has been removed.

◆ [Arcane Combustion]
→ Increases Magic Attack by 500 instead of 300, Magical Acc by 4000 instead of 3400, cooldown has been reduced from 3min to 2min 30s. Also, Crit Spell increase effect has been removed.

Spiritmaster

We decided to focus on the adjustment of Spiritmaster’s DP. We also reviewed a lot of the Spiritmasters’ skills related to weakening, some types of DoT skills have also been modified.

◆ [Disenchant]
→ The skill will now require DP to be used. It will now remove 2 buffs from the target and will have a 10min cooldown.

◆ [Summon Magma Spirit], [Summon Tempest Spirit]
→ The skill will no longer require DP to be used.

◆ [Dispel Magic]
→ The casting time has been changed from 0.5s to instant. Magic strike effect removed.

◆ [Fear]
→ The duration of 8s~15s on monsters and 3.6s~6.75s on other players has been changed to 10s on monsters and 5s on other players.

◆ [Fear Shriek], [Nightmare Curse]
→ The duration of 11s~18s on monsters and 4.95s~8.1s on other players has been changed to 13s~14s on monsters and 6.5s~7s on other players.

◆ [Nightmare Scream]
→ The duration of 12s~19s on monsters and 5.4s~8.6s on other players has been changed to 13s~14s on monsters and 6.5s~7s on other players.

◆ [Curse: Water Spirit], [Curse: Fire Spirit]
→ The duration of 6s~8s on monsters and 3.6s~4.8s on other players has been changed to 8s on monsters and 4s on other players.

◆ [Nightmare Sorrow]
→ The duration of 11s~18s on monsters and 3.85s~6.3s on other players has been changed to 9s~10s on monsters and 4.5s~5s on other players.

◆ [Magic Implosion]
→ Skill damage has been increased by 20%, the skill will now remove 1 buff instead of 2.

◆ [Magic Explosion]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 24s to 10s. The skill damage has been increased, and the buff-removing effect has been removed.

◆ [Infernal Pain]
→ The skill damage has been increased by 20%, the skill can no longer be dispelled.

◆ [Cyclone of Wrath], [Sandblaster], [Chain of Earth]
→ The skill damage has been increased by 20%.

Bard

We reworked the Bard’s offensive capabilities and restoration capabilities. So we made improvements to make the fights more dynamic.

→ The skill will now require DP to be used.

◆ [Symphony of Destruction]
→ The skill has been changed to a general skill that no longer requires DP to be used.

◆ [Melody of Joy]
→ The skill will no longer restore HP.

→ The healing effect has been increased by 20%.

◆ [Healing Variation]
→ The skill has been changed to a normal Stigma Skill.

◆ [Rejuvenation Melody]
→ The skill has been changed to a greater Stigma skill and the HP recovery effect has been increased by 20%. Also, 8s HP recovery has been increased by 500%.

◆ [Cheery Melody]
→ PVE Additional Damage increase has been changed from 520 to 1000.

◆ [Ironclad Tank Harmony]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 30s to 14s.

◆ [Illusion Tone]
→ Physical Attack increased from 170 to 600, Magic Attack reduced from 1200 to 600.

◆ [Serenade of Purification]
→ The effect will now apply immediately.

◆ [Illusion Symphony]
→ The skill damage has been increased by 20%, the cooldown has been changed from 60s to 40s.

◆ [Healing Mode]
→ Healing Boost has been changed from 300 to 500, the cooldown has been changed from 12s to 10s. Also, increase HP by 2000, Magic Attack by 500. Magical Acc increasing effect has been removed.

◆ [Magic Boost Mode]
→ Magic Attack changed from 500 to 800, Magical Acc changed from 1500 to 2000, cooldown has been reduced from 12s to 10s. Also, healing boost reduction of 800 has been added.

Chanter

The Chanter class can now increase its own attack speed and speed without DP. However, to avoid excesses, we have adjusted his defenses.

◆ [Seismic Blast]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 24s to 16s.

◆ [Seismic Termination]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 48s to 24s.

◆ [Divine Curtain]
→ The shield has been changed from 20,000 to 30,000. The cooldown has been reduced from 2min to 1min 30s. Stumble and Silence Resistance effects have been removed. Will now restore 4000 HP.

◆ [Elemental Screen]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 3min to 2min.

◆ [Numbing Blow]
→ The skill damage has been increased by 100%.

◆ [Roaring Wind Bludgeon]
→ Cooldown has been reduced from 2min to 30s.

Cleric

The cleric can distinguish himself by a defensive or offensive gameplay, When he is offensive, his defense decreases, whereas if he plays defensively his attack power will be reduced. We also adjusted the instant heal skills that were excessively high, and improved the effects of some skills when the cleric played a defensive role.

◆ [Splendour of Recovery]
→ Healing effect reduced by 10%, the periodic healing effect has been removed.

◆ [Ripple of Purification]
→ HP recovery has been reduced by 20%, periodic recovery of 1378 has been added.

◆ [Healing Splendour], [Healing Wave]
→ HP recovery effect increased by 10%.

◆ [Light of Recovery], [Flash of Recovery], [Ray of Restoration], [Restoration Strike], [Healing Light], [Radiant Cure], [Sympathetic Heal]

◆ [Enfeebling Burst]
→ The skill has been changed from a Greater to Normal Stigma skill, the Physical Attack reduction effect has been changed to reduce Physical Attack and Magic Attack. Also, the skill will no longer deal periodic damage.

◆ [Sacrificial Power]
→ The skill has been changed from Normal to Greater Stigma skill, Magic Attack has been changed from 500 to 1000, Crit Spell from 300 to 1000, Healing Boost reduction from 200 to 1000.

◆ [Benevolence]
→ The cooldown has been increased from 1s to 10s. Increases Magic Attack by 300. Also, 10% MP consumption increase has been removed.

◆ [Salvation]
→ The skill will now require DP to be used.

◆ [Word of Destruction]
→ The skill will no longer require DP to be used. The damage has been reduced by 30%. Also, the cooldown has been reduced from 5min to 2min. The duration has been reduced from 60s to 30s.

◆ [Festering Wound]
→ The skill will no longer deal damage and the Magic Resist effect has been removed.

◆ [Chain of Suffering]
→ Magic Resist effect has been removed.

◆ [Seal of Judgment]
→ Magic Resist reduction has been increased from 1500 to 3000, Magic Defence from 800 to 1000.

◆ [Immortal Shroud], [Indestructible Shield Wall], [Indestructible Protective Shield]
→ Stumble and Silence resistance has been removed.

◆ [Prayer of Focus]
→ The cooldown has been reduced from 1min to 30s. Magic Defence effect has been removed.

◆ [Prayer of Resistance]
→ Silence Resistance has been increased from 500 to 1000, the cooldown has been reduced from 1min to 30s. Magic Defence increase effect removed.

◆ [Chain Lightning]
→ The skill motion will now be a bit faster.

◆ [Saving Grace]
→ The skill will now increase Magic Defence, Physical Defence by 500. Also, will no longer heal for 5031 when the HP drops below 50%.

◆ [Power Smash Strike]
→ The Skill damage has been increased by 50%.

◆ [Amplification], [Blessed Shield]
→ Both skills will no share the cooldown.
